Tapa is a form of meditation that requires a huge effort, it includes yogas and dhyan(A process of self-realization). This painting is indicating buddha on tapa yoga. His body is red from the heat of his experience. A state of burning or unlearning the past. A big part of learning is also unlearning the things from the past. If we humans don’t unlearn the ideas of the past we cannot be open to any new ideas similar happened with buddha to find out what life is, he had to forget what he thought life was.

Painted with naturally made paint by grinding stones and other natural elements, highlighted with 24k gold. The entire process of making a painting like such takes between 2 to 6 months. Painted by the religious believers from the Himalayas, also known as the master artists of Himalayan arts.
